We believe in originality

Recently we added a page to our proposals to outline our company beliefs. One of those beliefs is originality. In digital marketing, it’s too easy to just copy other people. A client sees their competitor’s site, likes it, and wants the same thing. Our question is, why not create something better?

We believe in originality because every organization is original. Each has their story to tell and their way of looking at the world and doing business. Take Sideways8 for example. Many digital marketing shops in Atlanta can build websites. But, of all of the shops in Atlanta, I only know of two that develop custom designed websites for less than $30,000. And, of those two, we are the only shop with a strong development team so that we can build very complex sites when our clients need them. In that sense, we are the only shop in Atlanta that does what we do (that I’m aware of), making our story original.

We believe in originality because every user is unique and looking for unique things. Even if two companies sell the same basic items, often their users are slightly different. Users are not only looking for a product or service; they are looking at the personality of the company selling it. So the website needs to speak to that user and connect with them on a more personal level to endear confidence.

We believe in originality because it helps organizations stand out. If an organization believes that they are better than their competitors, their website should be better as well. It will help them to stand out from the crowd and pave the way forward as innovators in their industry.
